Hazy Mae began with Cookie Jars. Handcrafted ceramic portraits of icons, dreamers, and original characters, each created to celebrate the spirit that made them unforgettable.

That same philosophy now lives in a delicious new medium.

Long before ceramic characters and ice cream carts, there was The Breyer Patch. Owned by my grandfather, a Scottish immigrant who made Poughkeepsie, NY his home, his beloved ice cream shop was a magical local landmark where people gathered, lingered, and adored him. It was the very place where my beautiful angel mom grew up- surrounded by community, laughter, and the simple sweetness of human connection.

At Hazy Mae Sundaze, we honor that legacy. Every handcrafted dessert is an edible portrait, inspired not simply by what someone accomplished, but by how they moved through the world. Through flavor, storytelling, and artistry, each Sundaze invites guests to experience a remarkable life in an entirely unexpected way.

Served from our signature Ice Cream Dream gallery cart, every creation is paired with a collectible Carry Home Card, illustrated and written by Hazy Mae, transforming dessert into a keepsake and every event into a story worth remembering.
